Elkton Vineyard Management was founded by Nathan Wood in 2012 and is the first vineyard management company to specialize in organic and animal inclusive viticultural practices in Douglas County, Oregon. We are a full service vineyard development company offering in custom vineyard installation, management of existing vineyards and consultation for property owners.

Our philosophy is centered around understanding the intricacies of the landscape (soil, water, slope, native habitat etc) so as to create a vineyard site that harmonically integrates with the space.

From time to time Nathan offers total vineyard immersion opportunities to those with an interest in holistic management and farming. More important than fancy schooling or CV that reads like a novel is a deep seated passion for cultivating things- be it grapes, friendships, memories or new experiences. This in the presence of hard work, passion and unwavering tenacity makes for an incredibly rich life experience.
